POWERBOAT COURSES
RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 (2-day course)
An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat under supervision. This course is for complete beginners who want to learn how to sail through the RYA syllabus.
Depending on your progression, this four-day course will give you the capabilityand confidence to take a sailing dinghy out without an instructor in light winds. An RYA certificate will be issued. No sailing experience necessary.
RYA Powerboat Level 1 and 2 (2-day course)
This course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver. It is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.
Course Dates
Saturday 10th and Saturday 17th February (09:00 – 16:30)
Saturday 09th and Saturday 16th November (09:00 – 16:30)
Cost
Club Members £100.00.
Non club members £300.00.
These courses includeuse of club boats, buoyancy aids and RYA Powerboat Logbook (G20).
Note: Members who would like training in relation to club safetyboat duties should
liaise with their class captain.
RYA Safetyboat (2-day course)
coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes and for racing or training
activities.
