Line Dancing & BBQ

Well after a rocky start getting numbers, we were over 50 in the end and what a fantastic night it was!

On one of the hottest evenings of the year, it was fabulous to sit outside enjoying the view of Chipstead Lake and eating the amazing BBQ food that Feed Easy had provided, which was their last event at the club, and they certainly did us proud.

The line dance caller/instructor, Richard, was lovely and very quickly sussed out the audience, ie. A selection of rather older, but fairly active members, and with his extremely precise and clear instructions for each dance, it was very easy to understand and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

A big thank you to all members who came and supported the event, and an even bigger thank you to my band of ladies who helped me with preparations on the day and to the bar staff on the night who did a sterling job of keeping us all hydrated in the heat!
